Pakistan and Iran Stress Importance of Strengthening Bilateral Relations.
ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar welcomed Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and his delegation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad today. The meeting focused on the longstanding ties between Pakistan and Iran, with both sides stressing the importance of strengthening these relations through increased trade, energy cooperation, and improved border management.
According to Radio Pakistan, the talks also covered potential avenues for enhancing trade, investment, and people-to-people contacts between the two nations. Both leaders expressed a shared commitment to exploring these opportunities to further solidify their bilateral relations.
The discussions extended to the situation in the Middle East, where Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi strongly condemned Israeli aggression against Palestinians.
