Weather: Intermittent rain with snowfall continues
Islamabad: Intermittent rain with snowfall on the hills is continuing in different parts of the country‚ which has further increased the intensity of cold season.
According to the met office‚ this spell of rain will continue in Northeast Balochistan‚ Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa‚ North Punjab‚ Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan during the next twenty four hours. Highest rainfall of 13 mm has been recorded in Dir followed by eight mm in Gupis and Chitral.
Minimum temperature of minus 14 has been recorded in Skardu. Temperature of some other cities is: minus ten in Astore‚ minus eight in Hunza and Gupis‚ minus seven in Gilgit and minus five in Chillas. Meanwhile‚ Gilgit Chitral road has been blocked for all types of traffic due to heavy snowfall.
