Sports: Cricket: PIA clinches Gold Cup title
Karachi: PIA recorded a convincing 42 triumph against NBP in the final to clinch the title of NBP Gold Cup Hockey Tournament on Friday at National Hockey Stadium in Lahore.
Skipper M. Zubair, Kashif Ali, Imran Abbas and Inayatullah scored one goal each in the final to help PIA clinch the title of the event. NBP captain Akhtar Ali scored both the goals.
Meanwhile, Customs defeated Army by 32 score in the third position playoff match. Owais scored two goals while Waseem Abbas scored one for Customs. Mohammad Safeer and Shahid Ali Khan scored one goal each for Army.
