Khairpur: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that his government is attaching priority to the education, health and agriculture sectors and providing Jobs besides encouraging entertainment activities for the people of province.
Addressing a big gathering of inauguration ceremony of newly built building of Gymkhana Club Khairpur here late last night, he told that building was completed with the cost of Rs.190 million.
He said that his government successfully completed the record development schemes worth rupees 45 billion during last four and half a year in different districts of the province.
Qaim Ali Shah said that for the providing education to the masses at their door steps, 56 new universities were established while 30 new collages were also established in province. He said that with the cooperation of World Bank they are paying Rs.3400/= to each girl student of villages.
He said that government has not only increased the revenue but also increased the development budget of the province.
He said that Sindh government has trained 180000 youth in 60 different trades and they are being provided jobs in other countries.
Regarding Sindh Peoples’ Local Government Act, Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that it was passed in assembly after debate and would benefit Sindh people.
He said that his government has earned revenue by the export of 300, 000 ton of wheat.
