On the sidelines of the of International Conference on Resilient Pakistan in Geneva on Monday, Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
They discussed to enhancing the volume of bilateral trade, expediting work on trade corridor between the two countries, and increasing mutual cooperation for sustainable peace in the region.
The Prime Minister conveyed best wishes for Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and invited him to visit Pakistan at the earliest. He thanked Shavkat Mirziyoyev for extending humanitarian assistance for the flood victims of Pakistan.
The Uzbek Foreign Minister thanked the Prime Minister and assured him of his country’s maximum support for the rehabilitation of the flood-affected people of Pakistan.
