Chairperson National Commission for the Status of Women Nilofar Bakhtiar has emphasized the need for protection of rights of women as guaranteed in the constitution.
She was addressing National Conference on “Protection of Housing, Land and Property Rights for women and Most Vulnerable Groups in Pakistan”at Islamabad today.
The Chairperson said women should be given their due share in property. Nilofar Bakhtiar said awareness should be created among the women about their property rights.
She urged the stakeholders and policy makers to take measures for the protection of women rights in the country.
