LCCI concerns on transporters’ strike
Ratodero: The Executive Committee meeting of Larkana Chamber of Commerce & Industry LCCI has expressed dismay over the ongoing strike of transporters in Karachi due to which supply of all essential items has been severely disturbed.
According to LCCI press release, these essential items include rice, flour, pulses and many other items of daily use.
The meeting held on Monday under the chairmanship of its president Hafiz Muhammad Suleman Shaikh further said that the economic condition of Pakistan is worsening day by day and this continued strike since last nine days has further aggravated the situation. The worst affected of the strike are the labourers and poverty-stricken people, it added.
LCCI demanded of the Sindh & Pakistan governments to take immediate notice of the strike and further steps to end it without further loss of time so that business community and the people get ease.
Haji Anwar, Muhammad Ali, Khair Muhammad Shaikh, Aslam Shaikh, Azam Shaikh, Bashir Shaikh, Masood, Iqbal, Liaquat, Razak Brohi, Badar Abro, Jamal Mustafa, Mumtaz Shaikh & others were present.
