Gaza death toll of Palestinians rises to 60 during protest against Israel
The death toll of Palestinians has risen to sixty during protests against Israeli occupation forces.
Palestinian officials said that about 2,700 people were injured in the violence.
Meanwhile, funerals are being held in Gaza for the people who were shot dead by Israeli troops during Palestinian protests.
The burials coincide as the Palestinians marked the 70th anniversary of Nakba Day today in which 750,000 Palestinians were driven out of their homes in 1948 and forced to live in refugee camps.
Israel's military said it is preparing for further confrontations today, but Palestinian groups indicated they intended to rein in the protests.
