Former Jersey City school board President Mussab Ali has been awarded $90,000 for his graduate studies by a merit-based graduate school program for immigrants and children of immigrants. Ali was one of 30 selected out of 1,800 applicants for the Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans.
