Football: Railway beat PTV to enter ‘Group of Five Round’
Karachi: Railway recorded a convincing 3-1 triumph against PTV to confirm their presence in the ‘Group of Five Round’ of Pakistan Football Federation League on Friday at Railway Football Stadium in Lahore.
Railway’s Atif Hameed was fire during the match and scored the hat-trick for his team during the match. Jalal-ud-Din scored the consolatory goal for PTV in the match.
With the win, Railway finished on top in Group “D” of Departmental Leg and qualified for ‘Group of Five Round’.
Meanwhile, the match between HEC and Bhatti United ended in a 1-1 draw at Fame Football Ground in Lahore. Muhammad Asif scored for HEC while Muhammad Junaid produced the equalizer for Bhatti United during the injury time.
HEC has finished second in Group D behind Railway and have also qualified for the Group of Five Round.
