QUETTA: Director Public Relations Government of Balochistan was killed in an act of sectarian killing here Monday. Two police men were also killed in the firing.
According to details Mir Khadim Hussain Noori was coming to DGPR office here today. Miscreants riding a motorcycle opened fire on his vehicle in which he was seriously injured. While being shifted to hospital he succumbed to his injuries.
Police men chased fleeing miscreants at Jinnah road. But they opened fire on police men. As a result two police officials ASI Sangeen Khan and Constable Rajab Khan were killed. Another Constable Akbar Khan was seriously injured. Dead and injured were shifted to hospital.
Police and FC personnel reached the spot.
Angry people after the incident of sectarian killing resorted to aerial firing which created fear and panic among the people.
They staged a sit-in in front of IG Police office. They demanded arrested of accused immediately.
Angry people also blocked Spinny road and chanted slogans against the government.
Balochistan Governor Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi has strongly condemned the firing incident in which Detector Public Relations Khadim Hussain Noori and tow police men were killed.
He expressed deep grief over the loss of precious lives and urged provincial government to immediately arrest accused and brought them to justice. He also called for strict and effective steps to prevent recurrence of such incidents.
He prayed for eternal peace for the departed souls and patience for the bereaved families.
Provincial minister for infuriation Yunus Mallazai, Secretary Information Naseebullah Bazai and Director General Public Relations Kamran Asad while condoling death of Khadim Hussain Noori have appreciated his services and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and patience for the relatives.
