Corruption biggest challenge in Pakistan

Karachi: Corruption has become the biggest challenge in Pakistan and it is high time to get rid of corrupt politicians for good, said Jamaat-e-Islami JI Sindh naib amir Rashid Naseem here Monday.

Addressing a moot at Aisha Manzil here he said the recent report of Transparency International is an eye opener for all Pakistanis as the sitting rulers with the slogan of good governance have made new records in corruption.

He said due to rampant corruption of rulers, national institutions like PIA and Pakistan Railways have been badly crippled.

He said if the present set of corrupt rulers was re-elected it would ensure complete bankruptcy of the nation and country.

He said his party is trying its best to make Pakistan a corruption free country; however, it would require election of honest leaders.
