Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have paid tribute to the security forces and law enforcement agencies for successful intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
According to Radio Pakistan, both leaders, in separate statements, appreciated the professional capabilities of the security forces for eliminating 32 terrorists of Fitna-ul-Khwarij and Fitna-ul-Hindustan, who were reportedly operating under the patronage of India.
The President emphasized that the malicious intentions of terrorist elements supported by India will be countered at all costs. He asserted that every conspiracy against Pakistan's peace, stability, and sovereignty will be thwarted through national resolve and the professional capabilities of the security forces.
The Prime Minister reiterated the commitment to continue the fight against terrorism until it is entirely eradicated from the country. He affirmed that the entire nation stands by the Pakistani armed forces in their unwavering resolve to protect the motherland.
