Islamabad: Sindh Minister for Health and Population Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho met with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad today to discuss matters concerning public health, welfare, and regional developments.
According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, both officials engaged in discussions centered on public health strategies and initiatives aimed at improving welfare. The dialogue was part of ongoing efforts to address regional health challenges and enhance cooperation in public health sectors.
In a separate meeting, Chairperson of the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) Ambreen Jan also met with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar. She extended her congratulations to him and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs team for their mediation efforts in resolving regional conflicts, aimed at fostering peace and security both within the region and beyond.
Ishaq Dar acknowledged the Chairperson's remarks and emphasized the crucial role of responsible and professional media in shaping informed public discourse. He expressed confidence in PEMRA's commitment to promoting professionalism and best practices within the media industry.
