Mushahid proposes five-point Action Plan to promote Blue Economy

Chairman Senate Defence Committee Mushahid Hussain Syed has proposed a five-point Action Plan to promote Blue Economy.

He was chairing two sessions of Pakistan International Maritime Expo & Conference 2023 in Karachi today.

Mushahid Hussain Syed said apart from Blue Economy, marine and mineral resources plus CPEC and building on a strategic partnership between Pakistan, China and Saudi Arabia would be a catalyst for an alternative development approach.

He urged the government to establish a National Authority for Blue Economy to prepare a comprehensive strategy and form a ‘Task Force’ for devising a Work Plan for this purpose.

10-member medical team from Pakistan leaves for quake-hit Turkiye

A 10-member medical team from Pakistan left for earthquake-affected Turkiye today to take part in the ongoing relief operations in the quake-hit areas.

According to the health ministry spokesperson, a separate 10-member doctors’ team will leave for Syria tonight.

The medical teams will serve the earthquake victims with full dedication and commitment.

Pakistan Railways introduces RABTA App for passengers

Pakistan Railways introduces a mobile app RABTA to facilitate passengers for reservation of seats and ticketing.

Pakistan Railways will launch the Railway Automated Booking and Travel Assistance mobile APP, RABTA in collaboration with Chinese companies to facilitate passengers and generate revenue.

An official of Ministry of Railways told APP the mobile application will help the passengers to manage their tickets, seats, booking, food and other matters during their travel from home to respective destinations and vice versa.

He said a Memorandum of Understanding has already been signed between Pakistan Railways and two Chinese companies to launch RABTA.
