Balochistan CM orders to take strict counter-terrorism measures

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has directed to take stern action against terrorists and their facilitators in the province.

 

He was chairing a meeting of Provincial Apex committee in Quetta, that took important decisions regarding protection of lives and properties of people and elimination of terrorism from the province.

 

Inspector General Police Balochistan briefed the meeting about operations taken against anti-state elements in the province.

 

The Chief Minister directed to ensure implementation of all decisions taken in the apex committee meeting.

Musharraf’s dead body reaches Karachi through special plane

The dead body of former President General Retired Pervez Musharraf has reached Karachi by a special flight from Dubai.

 

His funeral prayer will be offered today (Tuesday).

 

The family of deceased former President also reached Karachi through the same flight.

 

Pervez Musharraf passed away in Dubai on Sunday at the age of 79 due to a protracted illness.

Punjab Govt announces to waive off tuition fee for Kashmiris students

Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced to waive off tuition fee of Kashmiris students in the province.

 

He stated this during a meeting with a delegation of Kashmiris students in Lahore on Tuesday.

 

He directed concerned officials to facilitate Kashmiri issue driving students to get driving license and open bank account. He said that the Punjab government will provide two hundred laptops to Kashmiris students.

 

Chief Minister said that necessary measures will be taken to fix post graduate quota for the Kashmiris students studying in medical colleges.
