PM directs to invite oil tanker driver to Islamabad, award him

On the directions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Head of Strategic Reforms Salman Sufi telephoned oil tanker driver Faisal who saved the lives of numerous people in Balochistan whilst putting his life at stake.

On behalf of the Prime Minister, Salman Sufi paid tributes to Faisal for his courage.

The Prime Minister has also directed to invite the oil tanker driver to Islamabad and award him the prize.  He said no appreciation is sufficient to praise this spirit of saving the lives of thousands of people whilst risking his own life.

PM calls for collective efforts to end power outages, problems faced by masses

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called for collective efforts to end power outages and problems faced by the masses.

He made the remarks whilst getting briefing on power situation in the country, in Islamabad on Thursday.

The officials of Ministry of Energy apprised the Prime Minister of the latest situation of load shedding in the country.

The Prime Minister sought data about the electricity’s demand and supply.  He also inquired about the power supply situation on different feeders.
