Security Forces Neutralize Seven Terrorists in Kharan District

Islamabad: Security forces have killed seven terrorists belonging to Fitna-al-Khwarij in an intelligence-based operation in Kharan district of Balochistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the operation was carried out under the banner of Radd-ul-Fitna 3 following credible intelligence about the presence of terrorists in the Lajay area of Kharan. In addition to the fatalities, many terrorists were injured during the operation.

Security forces successfully dismantled the hideouts of the Fitna-ul-Khawarij terrorists, seizing modern weapons, a substantial amount of ammunition, various war materials, two vehicles, and a motorcycle from the scene. These terrorists were reportedly involved in orchestrating criminal activities including looting, extortion, kidnappings for ransom, targeted killings, and suicide attacks in the Kharan and Lajay regions.

Security sources emphasized that the intelligence-based operations under Radd-ul-Fitna 3 in Balochistan are ongoing with the objective of eradicating terrorism completely.

Meanwhile, in a separate operation, security forces and the District Police neutralized at least five terrorists during a joint intelligence-based operation in various areas of Bannu. Acting on precise intelligence about the presence of Fitna al-Khawarij operatives near Sadron, Akbar Ali Khan village, and surrounding localities, a combined tactical team led by District Police Officer Bannu, Muhammad Furqan Bilal, executed a targeted operation on the suspected hideouts.

During this operation, joint forces utilized drone technology to conduct precise surveillance and execute effective tactical measures against the target group. A thorough search and clearance operation is currently active in adjacent areas to monitor remaining suspect movements and dismantle any auxiliary hideouts.
