New York:Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced that the government is actively working to empower the youth in Pakistan by providing training in IT, artificial intelligence, and other modern skills.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister made these remarks during meetings with delegations of the Pakistani community and youth residing in the United States.
Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the continuation of initiatives such as providing laptops and scholarships to talented youth, as well as offering equal educational opportunities to economically disadvantaged students through Daanish Schools, which he initiated when he was the Chief Minister of Punjab. He also mentioned the establishment of a world-class Daanish University.
The Prime Minister expressed pride in the talented Pakistani youth living abroad, emphasizing that they are a source of national pride. He reiterated his belief that the youth hold the key to changing Pakistan's destiny.
The youth expressed appreciation for the Prime Minister's initiatives aimed at their development, especially in the areas of information technology and ease of doing business.
