Changsha: President Asif Ali Zardari has arrived in Changsha, the capital of Hunan province, as part of his week-long visit to China. He was warmly welcomed by Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Hunan Provincial People's Congress Hu Xusheng. Ambassadors of China in Pakistan and Pakistan in China were also present on the occasion. The President is undertaking the visit on the invitation of the Government of the People's Republic of China.
According to Radio Pakistan, the President's itinerary includes a visit to Sanya in Hainan Province. During his stay, he will engage in meetings with the provincial leadership to discuss the strengthening of Pakistan-China bilateral relations. The visit is expected to further cement ties between the two nations, with agreements and memorandums of understanding to be signed between the Sindh government and Chinese companies.
