Islamabad: Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik held a meeting with Polish Ambassador to Pakistan Maciej Pisarski in Islamabad on Friday. They discussed enhancing bilateral cooperation in oil and gas exploration and minerals.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister stated that Pakistan can benefit from Poland's expertise in mining, especially in the sectors of copper and coal. He highlighted the international interest in Pakistan's oil, gas, and mineral reserves, citing the success of Polish firm PGNiG in Pakistan's energy sector as an example of successful foreign investment in the country.
Ali Pervaiz Malik emphasized that the government has implemented measures and introduced reforms to create a conducive environment for foreign investors. On the occasion, the Polish Ambassador expressed that efforts are underway to strengthen exploration, technology transfer, and investment opportunities between Pakistan and Poland.
