Pakistan, Sri Lanka to Explore New Cooperation in Tourism and Education

Islamabad: Pakistan and Sri Lanka have expressed their commitment to identifying new avenues of cooperation in tourism, culture, education, and institutional exchanges. This resolve was expressed during a meeting between Advisor to the Prime Minister on Tourism Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan and Sri Lankan High Commissioner to Pakistan Fred Senevirathne in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting focused on expanding tourism collaboration between Pakistan and Sri Lanka and exploring new initiatives to promote greater interaction between the two countries. The two sides further explored the possibility of establishing Travel Operators and Student Exchange Programmes to facilitate professional, educational, and cultural interaction.
