Pakistan Recognized as Peace-Maker and Security Provider: DPM

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has stated that Pakistan is being recognized as a peace-maker and net security provider for the region due to its mediation efforts between the US and Iran. Speaking in the National Assembly today, he emphasized that these efforts have resulted in saving hundreds of thousands of lives. Dar noted that Pakistan has served as an honest and sincere mediator between the two nations.

According to Radio Pakistan, Dar highlighted Pakistan's peace efforts, including its role in negotiations held in Switzerland. He paid tribute to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for their contributions to these mediation efforts. The Deputy Prime Minister also pointed out the economic benefits emerging from the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, mentioning a decline in petroleum product prices as a result.
