Islamabad: More than 232,000 intending pilgrims have successfully registered online for the Hajj 2027, marking the first 14 days of the registration campaign.
According to Radio Pakistan, a Spokesperson of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony stated that the registration process is facilitated through the National Information Technology Board's mobile application, Pak Hajj, as well as the online Hajj Portal. The spokesperson further revealed that 175,000 applicants have opted for the government Hajj scheme, while approximately 58,000 have registered under the private Hajj scheme. Out of the total registered applicants, 136,000 are men, and nearly 96,000 are women.
