Islamabad:Oman has praised Pakistan's efforts to enhance regional peace and security. This commendation was made by Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Al Busaidi during a meeting with Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar. The meeting took place ahead of the 8th session of the Pakistan-Oman Joint Ministerial Commission.
According to Radio Pakistan, the two sides discussed regional developments and highlighted the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in achieving lasting peace and stability. They also reaffirmed the strong, fraternal relations between Pakistan and Oman, emphasizing the need for continued high-level engagement to further cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, and people-to-people connections.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar expressed his gratitude for Oman's constructive role and shared aspirations for peace and stability in the region.
