Islamabad: Prime Minister's Coordinator Ikhtiar Wali has condemned PTI leader Maulana Nasim Ali Shah's derogatory remarks about Allama Iqbal. Talking to the media in Islamabad today, he said the PTI leadership is not hesitating to target the very ideology on which Pakistan was founded.
According to Radio Pakistan, Wali recalled that PTI workers had attacked military installations, desecrated monuments dedicated to martyrs, and set Radio Pakistan Peshawar on fire. He added that the current targeting of national heroes is a continuation of their violent past.
Ikhtiar Wali said the PTI leadership is failing to focus on improving service delivery in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where it is in power. He said the health and education sectors in the province are in a state of disarray.
The Coordinator urged the people to evaluate the PTI's performance and policies rather than fall prey to hollow political slogans.
