Govt Revises Prices of Petroleum Products

Islamabad: The government has announced a revision in the prices of petroleum products, effective for the next three days starting today.

According to Radio Pakistan, a press release issued by the Ministry of Energy details these changes. The price of High Speed Diesel has been increased by 5.28 rupees per litre, bringing the new cost to 403.32 rupees per litre. Similarly, the price of petrol has been raised by 5.02 rupees per litre, now priced at 375.82 rupees per litre.

These adjustments reflect the ongoing changes in the global oil market and domestic economic conditions. The Ministry of Energy has stated that these revised prices are part of the government's efforts to align domestic fuel prices with international trends and to manage the fiscal budget effectively.

Consumers are advised to take note of these new rates when planning their fuel purchases over the next few days. The government will continue to monitor the situation and make adjustments as necessary.
