Islamabad:Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has extended his congratulations to Fatima Zahra El Mansouri on becoming Morocco's first female Prime Minister.
According to Radio Pakistan, Gilani praised the appointment as a significant milestone in Morocco's political history, highlighting it as an important recognition of women's roles in political leadership and public service.
He emphasized that this development marks another step forward for women's political participation in the Muslim world. Furthermore, Gilani noted the strong and longstanding fraternal relations between Pakistan and Morocco, which are built on mutual respect, shared values, and close parliamentary and people-to-people connections.
Gilani expressed confidence that the bilateral relations, especially parliamentary cooperation, would be further strengthened during the tenure of the new government led by El Mansouri.
