Islamabad:Foreign Secretary Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar upon formally taking on his new role at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar commended Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad for his work as Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York.
He also expressed his best wishes for Ahmad’s success in his new responsibilities.
