Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz inaugurated the Provincial Intelligence Fusion and Threat Assessment Center and AI Hub in Lahore today. Speaking on the occasion, she highlighted the significant role the Centre will play in enhancing the province's capability to anticipate threats, improve coordination among security agencies, and ensure timely response to emerging challenges.
According to Radio Pakistan, Punjab has become the first province in Pakistan to establish an Artificial Intelligence Hub. The Chief Minister noted that the concept of artificial intelligence has been transformed into a practical reality within just a few months, marking the establishment of the AI Hub in record time as a significant accomplishment.
Maryam Nawaz emphasized that the Provincial Intelligence Fusion and Threat Assessment Center (PIFTAC) would be instrumental in reducing response times against terrorism and other security threats, thereby bolstering the overall security framework of the province.
