Bilal Bin Saqib Engages in Strategic Discussions on Digital Finance in Hong Kong

Pakistan: Minister of State and Chairman of Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, Bilal Bin Saqib, conducted a series of high-level meetings in Hong Kong with the aim of bolstering collaboration in the realms of digital finance, tokenized capital markets, regulatory innovation, and frontier technologies.

According to Radio Pakistan, Bilal Bin Saqib met with key figures including the Deputy Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, and a Member of the Legislative Council. The discussions were centered around Hong Kong's advancements in establishing a modern financial-market infrastructure and creating a regulated environment conducive to digital assets and tokenized financial products.

The meetings also delved into potential avenues for cooperation in areas such as fintech, Web3, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity, with a shared interest in leveraging these technologies for mutual benefit.
