Astana Hosts 24th Meeting of Global Religious Leaders

Astana:The 24th meeting of the Secretariat of the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions took place in Astana, Kazakhstan, focusing on interfaith and intercultural dialogue.

According to Radio Pakistan, representatives from six international organizations, government officials, and experts from 20 countries participated in the forum.

The meeting was chaired by Yerlan Karin, Vice President of Kazakhstan and Chair of the Secretariat. Karin emphasized the significance of spiritual diplomacy amid rising global instability.

Initiated in Astana in 2003, the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions serves as Kazakhstan's premier international platform for promoting interfaith and intercultural dialogue.

During the forum, three international documents were adopted: the "Code of Ethics for the Use of Artificial Intelligence in the Religious Sphere," "Role of Religions in Combating Climate Change," and "Charter of the Rights of Terminally ill Child."
