New York:Pakistan has called for strategic and forward-looking reforms to strengthen United Nations peacekeeping.
According to Radio Pakistan, these remarks were made by Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the UN, Syed Haider Shah, during his speech at the fourth Committee of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, which focused on the comprehensive review of peacekeeping operations.
The Ambassador reaffirmed Pakistan’s longstanding commitment as a major troop-contributing country and host State.
