Islamabad:Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb emphasized that ongoing engagement between the business communities of Pakistan and the Netherlands could help identify investment opportunities, develop partnerships, and build investor confidence.
According to Radio Pakistan, the minister made these remarks during a luncheon held in honor of a Dutch business delegation led by the Founders Carbon Network, accompanied by Netherlands' Ambassador Robert-Jan Siegert.
Aurangzeb highlighted the potential for Dutch expertise, technology, and investment to align with Pakistan's development goals in key sectors. He stressed the importance of public-private partnerships as a means to mobilize private capital and leverage specialized expertise to turn investment interest into viable projects.
Members of the Dutch delegation shared their insights on Pakistan's business environment and the prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation. Discussions focused on strengthening business-to-business engagement and identifying areas of mutual interest to develop feasible partnerships between Pakistani and Dutch enterprises.
