Muscat:Omani Minister for Housing and Urban Planning, Dr. Khalfan bin Saeed bin Mubarak Al-Shuaili, expressed interest in Punjab's 'Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar' housing project during a meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting took place in Muscat, where Dr. Al-Shuaili congratulated Maryam Nawaz on receiving the "UN-Habitat Scroll of Honour Award."
Maryam Nawaz provided details about Punjab's housing initiatives, highlighting the provincial government's plan to build 500,000 homes for low-income families over the next five years.
The discussions between the two officials also touched on topics such as sustainable urban planning and development. Dr. Al-Shuaili praised the contributions of Pakistani companies to Oman's real estate sector.
