Lahore:Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has emphasized the significance of the European Union as Pakistan's second largest trade partner.
According to Radio Pakistan, this statement was made during a meeting with Member of European Parliament, Mary Fatima Khan-Hohloch, in Lahore. The meeting focused on exploring avenues to enhance cooperation in agriculture and information technology, alongside discussing trade-related issues.
Mary Fatima Khan-Hohloch praised the public welfare projects underway in Punjab. Additionally, the European delegation commended the Chief Minister's initiative to issue Minority Cards, aimed at promoting the welfare of minorities.
