Muzaffarabad: The Special Communications Organization has initiated trial 5G services across seven significant locations in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. This development marks a step towards enhancing connectivity in the region.
According to Radio Pakistan, twenty additional sites are expected to be operational by the end of this year, raising the total number of active sites to twenty-seven. The deployment of high-speed 5G technology is anticipated to create new opportunities and stimulate growth in sectors such as tourism, education, healthcare, business, and public service delivery.
