Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has emphasized the importance of acquainting the youth with the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) for strong character-building and a positive role in society. He was addressing a seminar regarding Seerat-un-Nabi (SAWW) organized by National Rahmatul-lil-Alameen Wa Khatamun Nabiyyin Authority in Islamabad today.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Information Minister proposed the formation of a committee to promote the teachings and noble character of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) more widely through social media. Attaullah Tarar said that Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was sent as a mercy and blessing for all the worlds. He said the Holy Prophet set exemplary standards of patience, tolerance, compassion, and harmony, adding that his roles as a teacher, father, husband, and military commander provide enduring examples for humanity.
The Minister further stated that true success in this world and the Hereafter lies in following the noble teachings and exemplary life of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). Addressing the seminar, Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf said the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) provide solutions to all problems.
He highlighted that Islam encourages hard work and lawful means of earning. Sardar Muhammad Yousaf emphasized the need to equip the youth with modern knowledge, artificial intelligence, and technology. He also stressed the importance of promoting tolerance, patience, and brotherhood among the youth.
