Punjab: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has proposed enhanced Pak-China cooperation in technology transfer, local manufacturing, artificial intelligence, digital innovation, and smart agriculture. She discussed these initiatives during a meeting with Guizhou Provincial Party Secretary He Zhongyu and his delegation in Guiyang.
According to Radio Pakistan, Maryam Nawaz proposed the organization of a business and investment conference aimed at promoting technology transfer and local manufacturing between the two regions. She also expressed a keen interest in leveraging China's extensive experience in poverty alleviation to enhance the lives of individuals living below the poverty line in Punjab.
In addition to these initiatives, Maryam Nawaz highlighted the completion of over 50,000 road construction, rehabilitation, and expansion projects across the province. She proudly noted that Punjab has become the first province in Pakistan to institutionalize the use of artificial intelligence in governance and public service delivery, setting a precedent for technological advancement in the region.
