Government’s Initiative to Boost Sports Receives Support from Danyal Chaudhry

Islamabad: The government is taking active steps to enhance sports in the country, as stated by Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting, Barrister Danyal Chaudhry. During a ceremony at Waqar-un-Nisa College for Women in Rawalpindi, Chaudhry emphasized the government's commitment to improving facilities for the youth and prioritizing support for athletes at the grassroots level.

According to Radio Pakistan, Chaudhry highlighted the potential benefits of collaboration between the education and sports sectors, suggesting that such partnerships could create more opportunities for young individuals to demonstrate their skills. This approach underscores the government's strategy to integrate sports with educational initiatives to foster talent and provide wider platforms for youth engagement.

During the event, Chaudhry distributed 127 hockey kits to players from the Rawalpindi district. This initiative is part of a broader effort to provide young athletes with the necessary equipment and to rejuvenate interest and participation in hockey from the grassroots up.
