Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has emphasized the importance of effective follow-up on commitments and conventions under the GSP+ framework. He chaired the 7th meeting focused on strengthening trade and economic engagement with friendly countries, particularly with the European Union.
According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting discussed strategies to accelerate trade and economic partnerships with friendly nations. The discussions included improving market access, boosting export performance, and enhancing coordination among relevant stakeholders. Ishaq Dar directed all concerned parties to prioritize enhancing Pakistan's trade and export performance. He also stressed the importance of ensuring the timely implementation of agreed measures and strengthening coordination to maximize market access and economic opportunities for Pakistan.
