According to Radio Pakistan, a spokesperson for the Provincial Election Commissioner Sindh stated that polling started at eight in the morning and continued uninterrupted until five in the evening. Heavy contingents of police and personnel of other law enforcement agencies were deployed in and around polling stations to maintain law and order and ensure a peaceful polling process.
