Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has approved the 'Diaspora Doctor Locum Programme' under which overseas Pakistani and foreign specialist doctors will perform advanced surgeries and provide medical services in twelve public sector hospitals across the province.
According to Radio Pakistan, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif chaired a special meeting of the Specialized Healthcare department in Lahore, where she approved the launch of the programme. This initiative aims to bring highly qualified international medical professionals to Punjab, enhancing the healthcare services in the region.
In support of the programme, a dedicated dashboard and operational web portal will be established to streamline its operations and ensure efficient management.
