Young trader shot dead

Islamabad: Two unknown armed dacoits shot dead a young trader Muhammad Shehzad on offering resistance during a dacoity incident near village Rehan Cheema in Sambrial tehsil on Wednesday.

Reportedly, a Gujranwala based trader Muhammad Shehzad was going to the house of a local trader Arif Nawab Din to give him Rs. 350,000 in cash, when two unknown armed motorcyclists made him hostage at gunpoint and tried to snatch the money from him, as he resisted, the accused opened fire on him.

Several bullets hit badly hit his head, killing him on the spot. On this, the accused fled away by firing in the air. However, the trader saved his money from looting by giving his life there. Sambrial police have registered a case with no arrest, in this regard.
