Why not Altaf Hussain, if a Prime Minister can appear in SC: JUI leader Senator Hyderi

Okara, Punjab: Central Secretary General of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam JUI Senator Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Hyderi said on Sunday that MQM chief Altaf Hussain should appear before the Supreme Court on January 07 in contempt of court notice.

“Why not Altaf Hussain, if Yousuf Raza Gilani could appear despite being the Prime Minister at that time and stepped down from the office on court orders,” he said while talking to media leaving after Okara visit.

JUI leader said the MQM leaders and workers would be able to see their leader if Altaf Hussain appeared in the court.

Hyderi said that Kala Bagh Dam was a technical issue and should not be politicized for creating hatred among provinces.

He further said that an important meeting will be held in January for revival of MMA, an alliance of religious parties. He added that JUI could do seat adjustment with PMLN in Balochistan.
