Karachi: Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh on Media & Auqaf Sharmila Faruqui has said that nation should be united against those who spread feelings of sectarianism and hatred because these are anti-state elements.
“We are united and all the people belonging to various sects. They have no enmity against each other,” she said while visiting injured Syeda Mehzal Zehra here at a local hospital and presented her a bouquet. She assured full support to the injured family on behalf of Sindh Government.
Sharmila Faruqui said that the government was against terrorism and extremism. Some certain elements wanted to destroy the peace of Karachi; however the people of Karachi would foil their ulterior motives.
‘Protection of life and property of citizens is the responsibility of government and it will discharge it at any cost,’ she concluded.
