Three killed, eight injured in roof collapse

Peshawar: Three children were killed and eight persons were injured when the roof of two fragile houses collapsed due to continuous rains in Peshawar. Two children, brother and sister died when roof collapsed at Bahari Colony Warsak road while their parents and a brother were critically injured. The house belonged to a man named Jumma Gul whose two children, 8yearold Jalal and 3yearold Isra, got killed in the incident.

The injured Jumma Gull and his wife and five years old daughter Bulbula also got injured. They were rescued from the debris and were shifted hospital where they are said to be out of danger, police told.

In another incident at Phando one child died when roof collapsed due to continues rain. In third incident five persons were injured when roof of a house caved in at Achini Payan near ring road. All of them were rescued by rescuers of 1122 and shifted to hospital.
