Karachi: Pakistan Tennis Federation PTF will hold trials for the selection of Pakistan Davis Cup team from 14th to 20th December at PTF Tennis Complex in Islamabad. Pakistan will play Davis Cup tie against Sri Lanka at Colombo, Sri Lanka from 1st to 3rd February 2013. Pakistan tennis star Aisamul Haq and Aqeel Khan have been exempted from the trials.
The top four players as per PTF current ranking have been invited for the trials. PTF will also hold the trials for Fed Cup from 15th to 18th December also at PTF Tennis Complex. The Fed Cup 2013 will be held in Kazakhstan from 4th to 9th February 2013.
PTF also announced the selection committee who will watch the trials. Members of the selection committee are Khawaja Saeed Hai Chairman, Major Nabeel Member, Asim Shafik Member, Inamul Haq Member, Majid Bashir Member, M. Arif Qureshi Member and Ahmed Ejaz Member.
