Sindh Madressatul Islam University conducts interviews for new admission

Karachi: Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU) conducted interviews of 307 boy and girl students applied for the admission in initially opened five departments – Business Administration, Media Studies, Environmental Studies, Education and Computer Science respectively on Wednesday.

Dr. Muhammad Ali Shaikh, Vice Chancellor of SMIU, said SMIU has initially reserved 150 seats, 30 for each department in its first academic year, which would commenced from January 2013. The seats would be increased in the next year by addition of some new departments in SMIU.

He said a highly qualified faculty including 15 PhDs have been appointed to impart quality education to the students.
