Setting up FM Radio and Video Conference System for police department reviewed
Karachi: Establishment of FM Radio Station costing Rs.10.0 million and Video Conferencing System costing Rs.25.850 million are the major components of E-Policing System project in Sindh introduced by the I.T. Department, Sindh.
Director General, IT Department, Muhammad Yousuf while presiding over a departmental meeting reviewed the progress of these projects on Wednesday. The Project also included the Software Development costing Rs.45.250 million, Procurement of Server Machines and web/ application/ database, Prisoner Registration, Record and Movement System (PPRMS), Procurement of hardware of Prison Department costing Rs.41.470 million, procurement of Hardware of Police Department costing Rs.306.185 million and Networking worth Rs.88.744 million.
